Very nice vintage condition!
This a very heavy marble slab top made in Italy. NOTE: The top and bottom are NOT fastened together.
I was not able to figure out who the artist may have been but I included a pic of what looks like a possible signature/maker's mark on the underside of the marble.
The top has a couple of chips along the edges and has one noticeable scratch in the top surface. The painted wood base is in very nice solid condition!
The only other real flaw, that may be cleanable, is that there a a number of child's crayon marks and drawings on the underside of the marble. There are no such marks on the top!
